If you’re looking for perhaps the freshest trout Zurich has to offer, the Fisch Bistro at Seebad Enge is just the ticket.
Just before Seebad Enge opens for the summer bathing season, it transforms for two weeks into the Fisch Bistro. Each evening from 6pm you’ll find trout from organic fish farm Nadler in Aarau-Rohr served steamed or roasted with sides including seasonal vegetables, homemade potato gnocchi and asparagus. The trout has been bred according to Bio Suisse regulations and is delivered daily to Seebad Enge’s lakeside restaurant. Finish up with a homemade dessert – think warm chocolate cake with ice cream – enjoyed looking onto a panorama of Lake Zurich. Online reservation is recommended.
