Have some lunch with your facelift at this sociable salon.
This recent addition to the Geneva beauty scene is likely to cause quite a storm, not least because of the treatments on offer. For starters, how about a lunchtime facelift including ‘needling’, Botox and a facial including free food, drink and wi-fi? The stylish 200m2 space, which is also an art gallery, is nestled in the centre of the old town and is the brainchild of Vesna Leroux who made her name with Swiss Nail Spa. Her vision is to create a social hub where you can eat, drink and get your beauty needs sorted, inspired by the services of an airline business lounge. Other unique features include a loyalty card system, iPads and magazines. There’s a full range of mani-pedi options, with or without appointment, as well as classic facials, lunchtime lifts and beauty treatments. Check the website for events and offers.

The most beautiful salon in Geneva by far. Staff are amazing, their new hair salon is simply beautiful and you walk out having your hair and nails done in record time at a price that is actually cheaper then most places in town. I highly recommend it but make an appointment in advance as its always full. At this price - no wonder !
On the surface Swiss Nail Spa and Urban Mirage seem to solve the issue for expats trying to find a good beauty/nail salon. The salons are clean and hygienic. The staff friendly enough. There are a few excellent members of staff like Ella but that isn't enough for me anymore. I will personally never return to either salon. I've been a client for some time and visited regularly. Unfortunately the two excellent members of staff who provided lash extensions stopped (one left and one had to stay at the Swiss Nail Spa and was never available for booking) doing lash extensions. This meant I had an untrained (in the required product) therapist called Cindy who applied Lash Perfect lashes during a treatment that left me with swollen bruised glue burned case eyes. Medical treatment lasted two weeks and this was reported to the owner twice by email and in person straight after the treatment in April 2015. The owner is not remotely concerned and has never replied or contacted me. Unacceptable for a salon that prides itself on customer care etc. So, as I said, if you don't speak up you'll be fine but as soon as there is an issue it is hoped you will go away. I sadly would not recommend Urban Mirage to anyone I know. I just can't knowing what I know and after the experience I have had.
