Crimes of the Heart

Crimes of the heart is the story of a family in the American south set in 1974 that won the the 1981 Pulitzer Prize. Drawing on the "southern gothic" tradition of Harper Lee and Flannery O’Connor, this play explores the tangled roots of family and social relationships, by turns frightening, funny, and moving.
