Famous for being that show where the helicopter lands on stage, the smash-hit musical touches down in Switzerland for the first time. Originally produced in London's West End in 1989, the tearjerking love story set during the Vietnam War is one of the most successful musicals of all time and has been seen by over 35 million people around the world. This new award-winning production from 'Les Misérables' producer Cameron Mackintosh is now following in its footsteps, reviving the heart-wrenching story of Vietnamese bar girl Kim, who falls in love with and is then separated from American GI Chris in the final days of the Vietnam War. Over the next three years, she has to desperately battle to search her way back to Chris and unite him with the son he has no idea he's fathered. The production will be showing in its original English version.
