Built in 1905, this historic building was created to act as a base for cultural, artistic, social and philanthropic activity in Geneva. Despite numerous renovations it retains its original architecture – and, in fact, its original purpose. These days its 500-seat theatre hosts a year-long programme of classic and contemporary theatre, as well as hosting comedy workshops, dance, concerts, conferences and special events.
