There are a whopping 225km of slopes to traverse at Arosa Lenzerheide – but why not get acquainted with those slopes by doing something a little different? Make the most of the day at an EarlyBird event, where you’ll head to the top of a mountain at 6.30am for incredible views and fresh carving, followed by a sumptuous breakfast. Nightowls can take on a downhill run by moonlight or mix things up with some nocturnal sledging. Get the kids started on the slopes

Arosa Lenzerheide isn’t just a snowsports paradise for adults – children will love it just as much, even if they’ve never strapped on a pair of skis before. Special ‘Kinderland’ areas around the region allow the little ones to get started and learn all the basic skills they need, while having lots of fun along the way. Toys, winter playgrounds, activities and attractions – including carousels and igloos – keep things entertaining, and there are even ‘magic carpets’ and Pinocchio lifts to make moving around and getting back to the top of the (gentle) slopes a lot more enjoyable. Specially marked ‘family slopes’ around the area have been designed for controlled, comfortable carving, meaning you can head out with the kids when they’re ready to put their newfound skills into practice.
