Jaun is a small German-speaking village in the Gruyères region of the predominantly French-Swiss canton of Fribourg. Jaun's ski area encompasses 25 kilomentres of slopes and is usually guaranteed snow in the winter season. During summer there's plenty of hiking and mountain trails as well as climbing areas and a fitness trail. The area is family-frendly with cozy restaurants serving up Freiburger specialties such as fondue and mountain soup.
