ETH Polyterrasse offers amazing views over the city to Uetliberg. The open space becomes a free-entry ice rink for a month each winter (skates can be hired on-site), during which time you can book brunch in the pop-up alpine hut. During the warmer months, it's a lovely spot to sit, eat and while away some time whether you're a student or academic at the local ETH University or not.
