FOOD Zurich Opening

In the stylish ambience of the Jelmoli Food Market lies the promise of some of Zurich’s top chefs. Following a welcome drink, there will be gourmet delights provided by the Baur au Lac, Park Hyatt Zürich, Storchen Zürich, The Dolder Grand and Widder Hotel. There will also be a FOOBY cooking station, where talented chefs will concoct tasty creations from leftovers – the theme at the heart of this year’s festival. But it’s not all about being waited on: this year’s motto is “do it yourself” – and you might find yourself making pesto, mixing smoothie or combining cheese and truffles. DJ Skor will lend musical flair throughout the evening, before any night owls among the guests head to the Swiss Casino lounge to see out the event.
