Ouchy sports one of the many PubliBike hire points in Switzerland which allow you to rent a low-cost bicycle and drop it off at any other ‘velostation’ in the country. Though you’re unlikely to go far, it’s a cheap and accessible scheme that’s ideal for short hops along the Swiss Riviera. From Ouchy, it’s an easy cycle to Pully or further to Lutry or Cully, where you can stop off to swim in the lake, wander the cobbled streets of these pretty villages or have a drink by the water. Regular users can buy an annual membership to access the scheme, but if you’re an occasional user, take advantage of the CHF10 day rate for 24 hours’ use.
