This charming mountain resort area is located in the southwest, French-speaking part of Switzerland in the canton of Vaud. Tourist activities on offer in Les Mosses include the usual winter snow fun - skiing, snowboarding etc. and hikes and swimming during the summer months. One of the area's main attractions is Lake Lioson - dubbed the "pearl of the Alpine lakes" - which is situated 1,850 metres above sea level in the Pic Chaussy massif.
