Lichterfest 2015

Nowhere does Christmas lights like a canopy of stars better than Zurich. During this year’s Christmas lights switch-on city-wide on 19^th November, the most magical place to be is Zurich’s painterly Niederdorf old town. Its streets – Rindermarkt, Neumarkt, Spiegelgasse, Predigergasse, Predigerplatz, Froschaugasse and Brunngasse – come to life in a flurry of twinkling lights, festive music and a thousand candles lit by local children. The event is hosted by the Grand Prix Fashion boutique, which, alongside other businesses in the area, has planned special offers and little surprises for customers and visitors. Go along and enjoy a warming mulled wine to get in the mood for Christmas.
