LongLake Festival Lugano

Where to start? With six different festivals and over 300 events – phew – LongLake in Lugano takes some getting acquainted with. There’s Rock’n’More, a live musical extravaganza featuring rock, pop, folk, indie, reggae and punk music. More classical tastes will enjoy ‘Classica’ in landscaped Parco Ciani – don’t miss the Sunday matinees. At the other end of the scale, the ‘Buskers Festival’ promises riotous raucous fun along the lakefront. There’s also the Urban Art Festival in the city centre; the Family Festival in the Palazzo dei Congressi, with a programme of fairy tales, films and magic shows; and the Wor(l)ds Festival that will showcase writers, actors, artists and speakers. To top it off, so-called LongLake PLUS will host dance performances and cinema screenings throughout the summer.
