The result of the 3D Foundation’s second artist residency in the summer of 2014, this exhibition is a chance to see five new works created by artists Andrea Hasler, Bureau A, Tarik Hayward and Eve Bailey. Some willingness to suspend disbelief is required if you’re to fully appreciate the aim behind such pieces as Hasler’s Perishable Goods, described as a “pallet of compressed flesh...adorned with luxury chains” that represents the intrusion of visitors to Verbier in the winter months. Perhaps the coolest new sculpture is architects Bureau A’s Antoine, a liveable shelter in the form of a rock perched precariously on a slope, as if it would fall at any moment.
