Schminkbar by Bea Petri

It’s not hard to see why Bea Petri received a Veuve Clicquot BWA business award for her Schminkbar concept. The renowned Swiss makeup artist’s wellness and beauty salon combines cosmetics and gastronomy in a relaxing yet glamorous space that is made for whiling away time in. It certainly comes in handy for some out time during a hectic shopping trip, and with branches on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse and in the Europaallee quarter, it couldn’t be more conveniently located. As well as a hair salon, there is a range of treatments for men and women, from manicures and pedicures to massages, facials and makeup application. Our personal favourite is the Happy Box concept: the packages include a selection of treatments, a bottle of Prosecco and a tower of tapas. Why not treat a good friend to one for Christmas?
