Time Out says

A family-friendly resort in the sunniest corner of the Lower Engadine.

Nestled between 3,000-metre summits and overlooking the Swiss National Park, Scuol boasts an enviable location. The south-facing resort is sunny, but also snow-sure: its Motta-Naluns ski area reaches 2,800 metres above sea level. A nice range of blue and red runs makes for family-friendly skiing, while mogul fields and 13km of black descents cater for the more experienced. It is not as extensive or glamorous as other resorts in Graubünden (think St. Moritz and Pontresina), but its charm lies in its low-key nature. Off the slopes, explore the old town’s collection of squares lined with Sgraffito-decorated houses before replenishing in the natural thermal waters at the Bogn Engiadina Scuol spa.
