Switzerland's slowUp days encourage you to get out of your car and enjoy the countryside.
Car-free adventure days, otherwise known as slowUp, take place across Switzerland to encourage people to enjoy life at a more leisurely pace.
The routes are often very scenic, for example the 30-km route in Geneva which straddles the left shore of the lake, passing vineyards and villages, and can be completed by bike, foot or rollerblades.
In other words, you’ll be travelling so slowly you’ll be able to get to know the countryside and the people who live in it.
Most events provide assistance for participants with reduced mobility. Check the website for details.
