An artist’s estate is successful when it is able to keep the work alive. In other words, when subsequent generations of artists can draw inspiration from it, or when curators, researchers and collectors continuously approach it. Join the BSCC for the third event in its Moving Art series to learn more about these issues and others facing artsist' estates in the talk by Dr. Loretta Würtenberger, Founder and Director of the Institute for Artists' Estates. She will highlight the steps widows, children and anyone else responsible for an artist’s estate can take to keep the work alive. Guests will also be able to view the current exhibition 'Make_Shift' in the Collyer Bristow Art Gallery. Places are limited so early registration is recommended.
