Time Out says

Pizzazz has hit the capital

It’d be foolish to say the best thing about boutique hotel QT Canberra is its location. While it may be on London Circuit, spitting distance from ANU, the National Museum of Australia and the hip Lonsdale Street strip, QT Canberra does a bang-up job bringing spark to our capital.

If you’re familiar with the QT brand, you’re aware that each of their hotels run on a particular theme, some on the nose, some a little more left of centre. QT Canberra falls into that first category: it runs the gamut on Canberra’s nomenclature as the nation’s capital with politically themed clues all over. There’s Gough Whitlam on your room key; Fidel Castro and Julia Gillard are on the way to the bar; and Barack Obama’s in the mirror.

There are 205 suites available at QT Canberra and they’re ideal for visitors looking for a little Canberra-style pizzazz. Rooms are spacious and bathed in light. The vibe is boutique hotel, but with added political sensibilities – or “politique” as QT like to call it. Delivered with a wink, of course.
