If it weren’t for Alba and Sergi getting married, we wouldn’t have been able to celebrate more than 20 bingos with resounding success. And who is this couple of newlyweds? They’re the creators of the Musical Bingo para eventos: when they were about to get married, in a burst of creativity and with the goal of creating an unforgettable wedding party, they transformed an outdated classic (bingo) into a modern, rhythm-filled game that entertained everyone. And the idea was so brilliant that they decided to share it with the world. In fact, you can also buy the Bingo kit to recreate it at home.
If you come to the Time Out Market, you can enjoy this musical party with the best show women in the city: Clover Bisch and Pitita Queen, and the celebration always ends with a DJ set by DJ Xexo to dance until midnight. 1. A National Day with a surprising host
On September 11th, the event had a soundtrack everyone sang at the top of their lungs: the greatest Catalan hits echoed throughout the Market during a special Musical Bingo hosted, for the first time, by Bibi Jahfar (the only edition without Clover and Pitita). A memorable evening that culminated with the triumphant entrance of Slap Batucada, lifting the whole Market to the beat of drums.
2. Halloween: a terrifying costume contest
At the spookiest edition of the year, Pitita Queen appeared unrecognizable, transformed into a hybrid creature somewhere between diva and nightmare… she dressed up as Yayoi Kusama, and the audience was up to the task. More than 300 people competed for the new special prizes: best individual costume and best group costume. Among glam zombies, seductive vampires, and ghosts wearing 20 cm heels, the night became a visual and musical show full of unexpected twists, screams, laughter, and carefully planned scares.
3. Great divas: the ultimate pop tribute
When we host a bingo dedicated to the queens of pop, the result is explosive: Madonna, Beyoncé, Shakira, Taylor Swift, Rihanna… and many more that got everyone moving. Our beloved Pitita Queen led the party as only she can, and the night ended with an afterparty by DJ Xexo, who kept the dance floor burning. A celebration so glamorous that even the original divas wouldn’t have wanted to miss it!
4. The performers jumping from table to table
At Time Out Market, the show is more than guaranteed, and our drag performers always come up with the wildest ideas to make you part of everything that happens. Don’t be surprised if you end up doing the conga with a large part of the audience or if suddenly one of them approaches you to whisper something in your ear or invite you on stage. You might even have the honor of seeing Clover Bisch perform closer than if you were in the front row, because she loves using the tables as if they were just another stage. Ready for the party?
5. An unexpected marriage proposal
Since this Musical Bingo idea began with a marriage proposal, it had to end up inspiring more, in a domino effect. And that’s exactly what happened: during one of the bingos, a young man climbed onto the stage, determined, to announce something very important. First he called his partner and, amid ovations, in a gesture many had already guessed, he knelt down to propose like a true gentleman. She said yes, and that’s the end of the story.
