If you live for sports, you’ve probably already marked all the competitions of this year’s Winter Games on your calendar, taking place from 6 to 22 February. Opening and closing ceremonies
Time Out Market will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the sporting event, amongst others. The opening ceremony takes place on 6 February at 8 PM and lasts around three hours, with the parade of delegations and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron as the highlights. The closing ceremony will be held on 22 February between 7 and 8 PM and will feature the much-anticipated parade of athletes, the raising of the flags and the handover, as well as the extinguishing of the Olympic cauldron, symbolising the end of the Games.
Food & drink promotions
If you prefer, you can also make sure you have a snack to enjoy the screening in comfort and well supplied: for €5 you can get a drink (beer, soft drink or water), plus a bag of crisps. And if your appetite levels up, you can also order a special menu from one of the Market’s restaurants (ranked among the best in Barcelona) for €25, with options ranging from Mediterranean to Asian cuisine.
