This June, Time Out Market Barcelona becomes the official home base for the Midnight Runners. More than just a run, this event is an experience that fuses sport with community. Across two dates—June 3rd and 10th—you can hit the city streets and end the night in the best way possible: sharing the Market’s top-tier gastronomy with your fellow runners.
The session is free and organized alongside Midnight Runners Barcelona, the collective that has turned running into a signature nighttime ritual, making waves in major cities like New York. During these two dates, the Market transforms into the starting line and the finish line of an experience that goes way beyond just running.
The city is your track
The meetup kicks off at 7:40 PM at Time Out Market Barcelona, specifically in the Events Room (located next to the Xaloc Terrace). This is where it all begins: check-in, bag drop, and first contact with the runner tribe. There will also be a progressive warm-up and a brief presentation before—without too much time to overthink it—setting off.
The route—roughly 6 km—combines continuous running with stops that break the rhythm and keep the intensity high. This isn’t a conventional race; it’s a collective session where the city becomes the stage and the group becomes the engine.
The celebration
The night doesn't end at the finish line. The Market awaits with a DJ and a free glass of Natureo 0% (the alcohol-free wine by Familia Torres) to help you recover without losing the vibe. It’s the perfect excuse to stick around for food, music, and conversations that will bring your heart rate down (or up!). Plus, since it’s Wednesday, you can take advantage of the Market's €3 tapas promotion until 10:30 PM.
The event is free, but spots are limited. Registration is handled through Midnight Runners Barcelona. The link will be posted a few days before each date, so keep a close eye on their social media profiles and the Market’s channels. Ready to run?
