Dancing is so much easier and more enjoyable when vermouth is involved. Want to see for yourself? Don’t miss the Solidarity Vermouth & Swing at Time Out Market on Saturday, May 25, from 12 to 2 PM, for just 6 euros (tickets here). The experience not only includes an Irreverente vermouth like no other, but you’ll also learn how to dance with a partner. Best of all? You’ll get to put it into practice in a final social dance to live swing music.
But the true gem of this event is its solidarity: 50% of the proceeds will go to Fundació Lluita contra les Infeccions, a leading organization in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases such as HIV and others affecting the immune system. Among other initiatives, it works to develop clinical research projects. The event also features the support of Panteres Grogues, an LGTBIQA+ association that promotes sport and culture through diversity and inclusion. Their swing section turns dance into a tool for expression, connection, and social transformation.
Here’s the full schedule so you don’t miss a beat!
• Open Lindy Hop class with Estefania Velásques and Andres Avilés (40 min)
– Suitable for all levels
– No partner required
• Shim Sham choreography showcase by Panteres Grogues Swing (5 min)
