Yes, Glasto has sadly now been and gone, but you’d be wrong if you thought that means the UK’s summer of live music was over. Among those still to come, there’s wild dance fest Boomtown, the raucous Reading and Leeds Festival and heavy metal weekender, Bloodstock Open Air – to name just a few.

With a programme combining music with comedy, literature, poetry and wellness, Latitude is your classy, family-friendly answer to some of the more, erm, feral events of British festival season. This year the likes of Paolo Nutini and Ed Gamble are amongst the performers set to entertain the crowds.

Zen rep aside, the fest is also famed for its bizarre (and oft-criticised) pink sheep tradition, which sees sheep with dyed bright fuschia grazing beneath the sparkling Latitude sign. Here is everything you need to know about the festival this year.

When is Latitude Festival 2023?

This year, Latitude is taking place from Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, July 23. Most of the acts don’t take to the stage until Friday, giving you plenty of time on Thursday to set up camp.

Where is Latitude Festival?

It’s held at Henham Park, a 4,200 acre estate in Suffolk.

Who are the headliners for Latitude 2023?

The main headliners for the weekend are legendary Britpop band Pulp on the Friday, Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini on Saturday and pop balladeer George Ezra on Sunday. Festivalgoers will be able to catch these guys at Latitude’s answer to the Pyramid Stage – the Obelisk Arena.

The headliners on the comedy side of the event are Ed Gamble, Bridget Christie, Sara Pascoe and Romesh Ranganathan.

What’s the lineup for Latitude 2023?

Additional musical acts on the lineup include Sophie Ellis-Bexter, The Kooks, Black Midi, The Proclaimers and Confidence Man. Mercury award winners Young Fathers are headlining the BBC Sounds Stage alongside Leeds rock band Yard Act and Siouxsie.

Comedy wise, you’ve got the likes of Ed Byrne, Kerry Godliman, Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris and Russell Kane. Tim Burgess and James Acaster are also on the lineup but for the festival's podcasts and conversations programme.

How much are Latitude Festival tickets?

Most tickets are now all sold out. However you can still get your hands on a day ticket for Friday, which will cost between £80 and £90. There are also a handful available on Stubhub, but be warned – they don’t come cheap.

What are the stage splits and times this year?
