Most of the chain’s outposts in Scotland are participating in the offer – here’s a list of the major restaurants involved

Half term; beloved by children, feared by parents. If you’re Scottish with school-aged kids, you’re already more than half way through the October break, and very soon you will no longer have to contend with finding extra childcare or entertaining bored nine year olds seven days a week. If you’re looking for something to tide you and your little ones over before they head back to school next week, Burger King might have you covered.
Until Sunday (October 20), kids can eat for free at the fast-food restaurant alongside a paying adult. To qualify for the freebie, you’ll have to buy an adult meal, which usually consists of a burger, a side, and a drink, which will entitle your child to a kids king junior meal completely on the house. Weekend plans sorted.
The deal is available at all of the chain’s Scottish branches except those in airports, service stations, train stations, and holiday parks. These are the branches in Scotland’s major cities where you can claim your free mini-whopper and chips:
This is not an exhaustive list, and if you don’t see your local BK here it might just mean that it isn’t in an urban centre, but you can check whether or not it's participating in this offer on the app, or you can read the full T&Cs here. Enjoy your free burgers, kids!
There are plenty more good things going on in the UK to celebrate this half term, including a huge supermoon which we will be able to see this October, a brand new flavour at Nando's, and the rennaisance of Wilko.
