There are so many things that make a city great, from liveability and safety to its inhabitants, culture and businesses. But what does it take to make one of the best cities in the entire world? Well, there is a ranking for that – and it says it’s the world’s most thorough city ranking.
Every year, tourism and real estate advisory service Resonance Consultancy releases its ranking of the World’s Best Cities, which it does based on a wide range of measures. For the past few years now, London has been crowned the top spot and this year, it once again took top spot.
The capital aside, another UK city shone in Resonance Consultancy’s 2023 ranking. Glasgow ranked the second-best UK city, coming in 61st overall. The Scottish city’s good showing was apparently due to its strengths in education, its vibrant nightlife and its healthy business environment.
Other UK cities on the list were Manchester (at 72), Liverpool (74), Birmingham (85) and Leeds (88). Check out the full list of the world’s best cities according to Resonance Consultancy here.
