Once a year, Green Man Festival takes over a country estate in the glorious Welsh mountains. Stages pop up across the 400 acres of parkland and forest, bringing four days of music and culture to a normally quiet corner of the country.
After a tremendous 2026 edition headlined by the likes of Four Tet and Wolf Alice, next summer will mark Green Man’s 25th anniversary. Organisers have teased that they’re ‘already fizzing with plans, surprises and acts befitting the occasion’.
Even in a normal year, tickets for Green Man sell out incredibly fast. And they’re only released once. So if you want to be at the festival as it celebrates a quarter of a century, this week is your only chance to make that happen. Where is Green Man Festival 2027?
Green Man’s location is part of what makes it so special. As always, it will take place at Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell in Bannau Brycheiniog [the Brecon Beacons].
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale on Saturday September 26 at 10am. You can sign up for updates here.
Ticket prices
Prices for Green Man 2027 haven’t been confirmed yet. However, we imagine they’ll cost slightly more than last year. For reference, 2026’s prices were:

How big is Green Man festival?
The fest welcomes around 25,000 people each year and has 16 different stages hosting music, comedy and talks.
What is Green Man festival like?
As one of just three large independent festivals in the UK, Green Man is entirely void of corporate sponsorship. That means it has a lot of freedom in terms of curation and, each year, it serves an eclectic lineup. This summer’s headliners were Mogwai, Wilco, Four Tet and Wolf Alice, with sub-headliners like Fcukers, Getdown Services, Sparks and Westside Cowboy.
With its Celtic energy, beautiful backdrop and all-are-welcome atmosphere, Green Man is one of the finest fests in the country. We’re not the only ones who think so. After the 2026 edition, Rolling Stone called Green Man a ‘beacon of hope in the UK’s musical calendar…a sponsorship-free, socially conscious utopia for the music scene’ and Huck Magazine praised it as a ‘genuinely magical way to spend four days’.
