The Women’s World Cup is almost upon us and, off the back of the Lionesses’ magnificent Euros victory, needless to say that expectations are high. Whether you’re a fan of the beautiful game or not, the excitement that sweeps the country during major tournaments is infectious. If you want to be part of that electric atmosphere, you definitely don’t want to fall behind on the latest updates.

How can I watch the Women’s World Cup on TV in the UK? 

After a deal to split broadcast rights was confirmed last month, all Women’s World Cup games will be free to watch live on either BBC or ITV.  Matches will also be available to enjoy on their respective streaming platforms, BBC iPlayer and ITVX. 

The final on Sunday August 20 will be broadcast on both BBC and ITV.
