There are two types of people in this world: those who consume cereal exclusively in the morning and those who are known to pour themselves a generous bowlful as a snack at basically any time of day (no judgement here). Whichever category you fall under, there will soon be a new chocolatey cereal on supermarket shelves that you can indulge in.
Last Tuesday happened to be National Cereal Day and KitKat took the opportunity to reveal a cereal version of its beloved chocolate bar, due to launch exclusively in the UK next month.
It tweeted: ‘Breaking news! KitKat Cereal is coming soon to a breakfast near you! Who’s excited to try?’ Nestlé promised that the new product will ‘maintain the essence of the much-loved original chocolate bar’ and feature crispy squares with a milk chocolate flavoured-coating.
Sarah Fordy, of Cereal Partners UK and Ireland, said: ‘This exciting new cereal delivers a delicious taste of KitKat and has been developed to cater to consumers who are looking for an occasional, indulgent breakfast option that can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.’
