It’s that time of year when we’re all making grand plans for 2023. Perhaps you’re planning to actually make use of your gym membership, or you want to stop spending all your hard-earned cash on pints at the pub. You might even be looking to move house in the new year or get your foot on the property ladder for the first time.

So how about a house with a little more pizzazz? We’ve got just the thing. A country estate in Nottinghamshire is on the market right now, and it comes with a little something extra – you’ll become an actual Lord or Lady. Yep, that’s right, this grand house comes with a title: the Lord or Lady of Tuxford Hall. At £650,000 (around the same as a two-bed flat in London), it’s a pretty sweet deal.

The Grade II-listed property was originally built in the mid-1800s, and is found slap-bang in the middle of miles and miles of woodland. It has eight bedrooms, five bathrooms and five reception rooms (including a living room, drawing room, and yes, a breakfast room).

The only catch is that the property is in need of some serious TLC. We’re talking major refurbishments. Expensive ones. But the opportunity to invite all your many besties over to celebrate your new title, and have them all stay for a sleepover? Utterly priceless, obviously.

You can find out more about the property here.
