Have you ever wanted to live in a house that looks like it’s from a sci-fi movie? Well, now you actually could. This stunning ‘invisible home’ has just hit the market, with the estate agents dubbing it an ‘exceptional piece of modern architecture’.

The Invisible House has a mirrored facade that reflects the birch trees that surround it in the village of Moreton Paddox in Warwickshire. It really does look like some kind of warp from a dystopian blockbuster, and the sense of otherworldliness carries on inside, as the property is Tardis-like in its dimensions: there are four bedrooms across eight separate ‘pavilions’ connected via a series of walkways. In the gardens, you’ll find a rich mix of ferns, trees and ponds.

Estate agents Knight Frank said the house got planning permission under a special clause that allows people to build where this wouldn’t usually be allowed unless the home is of ‘groundbreaking’ architectural standards. They sure managed it, though you fancy buying the place, you’ll have to stump up a cool £2 million. Ouch.
