One Night is a gripping six-part thriller set against the stunning vistas of Australia.
It sees three friends reunite two decades after horrific events as old secrets come to light and threaten to destroy their friendship.

What is One Night about?
One Night follows a group of friends who reunite 20 years after one traumatic evening changed their lives forever.
Two decades later and the trio have had children, moved abroad and inevitably grown apart.
The reunion starts well but all unravels when one of their group, a budding author struggling to get published, reveals she has written a book all about their nightmare experience.
What follows is a gripping tale of betrayal and deceit as long-forgotten faces reappear and old secrets get exposed.
Where was One Night filmed?
The drama was filmed on location across New South Wales, Australia, stretching from the state capital of Sydney to the coastal region of Illawarra.
‘I am glad to show off my ‘hood,’ producer Ian Collie said. ‘The beauty of the coast but also its underbelly, the perils, the rips, the bush.
‘We were incredibly lucky with the weather. We had only one day of flash flooding which meant shifting a location from Thirroul to Wombarra.’
Thirroul
Thirroul served as one of the main filming locations for One Night.
The seaside suburb is full of stunning views with its beaches and picturesque, palm-treed lined streets and quaint local shops.
Specific locations used include Headlands Hotel and Thirroul Petrol Station.
Austinmer, another beach town just north of Thirroul was also used as a key filming location.
Wollongong
The Sea Cliff Bridge is featured throughout the series. An hour’s drive from Sydney, the bridge connects the suburbs of Clifton and Coalcliff.
Scenes were also filmed at the nearby Scarborough Hotel and the Bowlo restaurant in Wombarra.
Sydney
Most of One Night was filmed on the New South Wales coastline, but some scenes were shot in Sydney.
These were primarily ones where Simone goes to visit her publisher in their bustling city offices. and the city is also the location for her book launch event.
Who is in the One Night cast?
Jodie Whittaker leads the cast as Tess, a happily married mum-of-two with a booming career overseas. She returns to Australia for the reunion, unaware of the revelations about to unfold.
The actress is perhaps best known for her stint on Doctor Who, but has also appeared in several of the biggest dramas, including Toxic Town and Broadchurch.
Nicole da Silva (Wentworth) is Simone, an author struggling to get published until she anonymously writes up the events of the group’s traumatic night. But not seeking her friends’ approval beforehand will cause a huge rift.
Yael Stone (Orange is the New Black) appears as Hat, the only member of the trio to have stayed in their hometown.
When is One Night on TV?
One Night launches on ITV this Saturday August 16 at 9.30pm.
Episodes air weekly with the final episode hitting screens on Saturday September 20.
