Let us tell you what you’ll really, really want, but never knew you needed. Spice Girl stamps, that’s what.

That’s right, to celebrate 30 years since the formation of the beloved girl group, Brits will be able to purchase postal stamps featuring the faces of Baby, Posh, Scary, Sporty and Ginger.

Royal Mail has issued a set of 15 special stamps which include individual shots of the members from the famous 1997 Spice World photoshoot and ten shots from some of their most legendary live performances, including the BRIT Awards in 1997 with Gerri Halliwell’s iconic Union Jack dress.

This marks the sixth time that Royal Mail has released a stamp collection in celebration of a music group, following stamps celebrating the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, the Rolling Stones and Iron Maiden. It’s the very first time that the postal service has dedicated an entire collection to a female pop band.

In a statement, the Spice Girls said: ‘We are so excited to be celebrated by Royal Mail, alongside some of the most iconic and influential music legends. When we formed the Spice Girls we couldn’t have dreamt that 30 years later we would be the first female group to be dedicated an entire stamp collection, that’s Girl Power!’

If you ever needed an excuse to send a letter, this is it. The stamps officially go on sale on January 11 but you can pre-order them here. As well as the basic stamp set, die-hard fans can also order things like a framed collectors sheet, postcards and posters. Here’s a peak at some of the stamps on offer.
