France is one of the most popular destinations for British holidaymakers, and for good reason. It’s the closest place we can go and get a decent chance of sun, it’s got great food, and you can really show off that GSCE French to the world.
And from April, there’ll be even more affordable ways for Brits to get to France. From April, Ryanair will launch flights from Edinburgh airport to two new French destinations: Biarritz and Bergerac. The budget airline will be sending out two flights a week to each location, with fares starting from just £22.
You can head to Biarritz, a seaside city in the Basque country with sandy beaches and easy access to Spain, on Mondays or Thursdays. If a historic old town sounds more like your style, flights to Bergerac will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays from April 2.
For those who don’t fancy France, Ryanair is also introducing a new route from Edinburgh to Agadir, a large coastal city in Morocco. Those tickets will cost you a bit more – starting at £65 one-way – but the price tag is well worth it considering flights from London to the resort town can easily set you back a couple hundred quid.
