Train fans, we know you’ve dreamt of it. Living in a cosy, gorgeous renovated old train station out in the middle of the countryside, filled with history and boasting lush rural views. And tbh, even if you’re not a rail fanatic, it sounds pretty damn sweet.

But that’s exactly what’s on offer with a new property that has gone on the market in Northumberland, in the farthest reaches of northern England (it’s right next to the Scottish Highlands). A gorgeous converted train station called the Old Station is for sale for £895,000, featuring a signal box that has been turned into a separate living space altogether. How cool is that?

Located in Edlingham, the historic property sits within a private 1.5-acre garden and features four bedrooms. It has been apparently been renovated to a high standard, having had a makeover in the last five years. And if you thought the train station façade was the only attraction, think again. The property also overlooks vast woodlands, as well as the majestic Cheviot Hills and the Edlingham viaduct.

From the building itself to its surrounding scenery, the whole place is pretty spectacular. Here are some more snaps of it.
