Do you have £2 million burning a hole in your pockets? If so, might we direct you to this secluded property which is only accessible by boat? Oh, and it was once occupied by some bands you may have heard of. The likes of Oasis, Muse, Stone Roses, The Verve and Robert Plant have all stayed here, just FYI.

That’s because the Old Sawmills property in Fowey, Cornwall, has its own world-famous recording studio. Now available on the market for the first time in 48 years, the waterside home is only accessible by boat or on foot, offering plenty of privacy and seclusion.

It also comes with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, a private creek and right to mooring on the Fowey estuary. And the property is surrounded by 32 acres of private woodland.

This home might be one for musical fanatics as it hosted plenty of stars. Popular albums recorded at the Old Sawmills include Oasis’s ‘Definitely Maybe’, ‘In It For The Money’ by Supergrass and various albums by Muse including ‘Showbiz’ and ‘Origin of Symmetry’.

The house is being offered by Rightmove, which shared details of the home on their Instagram. The Old Sawmills is approximately half a mile by boat from the charming Cornish coastal village of Golant.

ICYMI: the UK’s largest-ever kite festival is taking place in aid of Afghanistan this weekend.

Plus: bus fares across England will soon be capped to help fight the cost-of-living crisis.
