We’ve entered September, which means that it’s now officially socially acceptable to start thinking about Halloween. If you really want to feel the fear this year, there are few places in the UK that do Halloween quite like Thorpe Park. And with spooky season approaching, it has revealed the details of the 25th edition of its infamous Fright Nights. Brace yourselves...
For Fright Nights 2026, the theme park is launching ‘Tenement’, a fully immersive, pitch-black scare maze in which guests only have a faulty handheld light to help them through the darkness. It’s the first attraction of its kind at the park. Along the way, you’ll encounter chilling reflections, illusions and sensory jump scares.
That’s not the only thing that’ll raise your heart rate. As ever, Fright Night will bring a lineup of bloodcurdling, spine-tingling rides, attractions and performances. The four horror mazes will be back. Assassins and a set of obstacles will try and trap you in the ‘Survival Games’ labyrinth; a crew of creatures will be watching over you as you try to get out of the underground nightclub ‘DeadBeat’; in ‘Trailers’ you’ll be stuck inside a cinema screening horror nightmares and creepy toys will try to capture you and make you part of the collection in ‘Stitches’.
Elsewhere, you can scare yourself silly in the immersive Purgatory Town, take part in a night of dancing at the Rebel Ball or experience the terrifying SAW: The Ride (the world’s very first rollercoaster based on a horror movie) after dark.
Tickets for Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights are on sale now from £39 online. You can also get tickets at the door for £66. If you want entry to the scare mazes included, it’s £71. Book here. It’ll run from October 2 until November 1.
