After months and months of waiting (and plenty of rumours), we finally know who will be gracing the stage at Worthy Farm this June for the 52nd edition of Glastonbury. This year’s festival will be headlined by no less than Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Shania Twain, with the likes of Little Simz, Avril Lavigne, Jungle and Peggy Gou all on the roster as well – plus many, many more.

Whether you were unlucky in the November ticket sales or you were holding out for the lineup, there’s still chance to get tickets through resale, which happens this week.

Here is everything you need to know about snapping up your place at Glasto in the big resale.

When do Glastonbury 2024 tickets go on resale?

As many of us were made gloomily aware, all the tickets for Glastonbury 2024 sold out during those frustrating (or joyous – lucky you) November sales. The ticket resale will take place on Thursday April 18 at 6pm for coach and ticket packages. General admission tickets go on sale on Sunday April 21 at 9am. Everyone booking needs to be registered.

The tickets on sale will consist of all the ones which have been cancelled or returned since November. Be warned, however: Emily Eavis said yesterday (April 8) that more tickets have been paid for in full than any other year in Glasto’s history.

How many Glastonbury tickets can you buy in the resale?

Better get to redrawing those group chats, as during the resale only four tickets per transaction can be purchased (well, if last year’s anything to go by). In terms of coach packages, those will be limited to two tickets per transaction.

Can you get into Glastonbury without a ticket?

Yes. Though security and checks upon entry are notoriously stringent (and we do not advocate trying to sneak in) there are a couple of alternative ways to bag your entry into Worthy Farm, such as by becoming a first-aider or through volunteering. You can read more about these here
