Coming to Manchester and London this October is none other than Thrive Street 2025: the one-stop shop (or should we say retail market) celebrating all things artisanal and independent. Curated by retail expert Mary Portas and powered by Mastercard and Worldpay, Thrive Street is designed to showcase some of the UK's most innovative indie retailers.

Set across two weekends in Manchester and London respectively, this stunningly collaborative effort features vibrant pop-up markets, blended in commercially creative harmony, celebrating the future of our UK high street.

Manchester

From October 17 to October 19, the first weekend of Thrive Street 2025 is happening in Manchester, with NOMA's Altogether Otherwise chosen as the selected venue. A thoughtfully curated line-up of 15 local businesses includes Black & Beech, celebrating consciously made feminist-informed fashion, Mademoiselle Macaron, offering delectably bespoke French macaron boxes to taste and Drinks Kitchen, honouring the growing alcohol-free movement with deliciously prepared aperitifs to sample, among many others. Come for the community spirit, stay for the inspiring innovation.

London

The London leg of Thrive Street 2025 takes place on the second consecutive weekend across October 24 to October 26 at the iconic Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. Walking distance from Brick Lane and surrounded by many local indie shops and artists, the venue choice is a no-brainer.

All participating SME's have earned a spot on the well-curated roster, but some honourable mentions include The House of Spectacles, a pair of motivated gamechangers who want to 'change the way you feel in your glasses, forever' and Wanderlust Life, a woman-owned handmade jewellery business made with intention and designed to 'make a statement, capture memories and spark joy'. Then there’s also Amamus, one of the first UK coffee companies to achieve B Corp certification, with its mission centred on delivering positive impact and extraordinary coffee. Sounds pretty good, right?

Whether you're visiting to shop incredible local brands, hear fresh ideas on the grand stage or simply meet the people shaping our very future – let's be honest, they're a fairly inspirational lot – you're guaranteed to have a blast at Thrive Street this year. We'll see you there.
