Time Out says

Above-average Ealing thriller, with a mixture of British and Belgian agents helping the resistance movement in occupied Europe during World War II. A little implausible, but backed by some semi-documentary training scenes before the group (in a plot remarkably similar to that of 13 Rue Madeleine) set off on their mission with a traitor (Warner, cast against type) among them. Crichton, taking a break from comedy along with scriptwriter TEB Clarke, turns in some tense moments, and Signoret adds a touch of style in a pre-L'Armée des Ombres bout of heroism.
