Time Out says

A rousing exercise in auto-snuff: how many cars can you demolish inside 103 minutes and still maintain interest in a plot? Almost half that time is taken up by another chase to end them all as 'Eleanor', the stolen Ford Mustang needed to complete a gigantic consignment (the title means how long it takes to steal a car, not to destroy it), creates a trail of havoc through LA and environs. 'Eleanor' is quite rightly credited at the start, since she has at least as much character as the human wrecking crew, who adopt a take-it-or-leave-it attitude about letting you know what's going on. If you take it, the wealth of sketched-in technical detail is fairly engrossing, and the energy of this Halicki production (he also wrote, directed, stars and supplied the vehicles) is arresting. It's a pity that it had to descend into such routine carnage.
