Wives: Ten Years After

A decade after their reckless spree together, the three friends from Wives meet up again at a pre-Christmas fancy dress party. However, when they try to relive the past, the changes wrought in them by age and the failure of their relationships with men generate unsettling tensions. Even when they hole up together in a deserted Malmö hotel, where they were waited on hand and foot by the manager, they find little comfort in one another's company. A painfully honest film which benefits greatly from the reuniting of the original cast, all of whom again collaborated with Breien on the scenario.
