Time Out says

Taking place between July 25 and August 12, 2012, 'Sail Royal Greenwich' comprises 20 tall ships including schooners and clippers, many originating from Holland, that ply a route from Royal Arsenal Pier along the Thames to St Katharine Docks. There are four, daily cruises of around two hours, including evening and late-night cruises (times vary with the tide), taking in Olympic venues, Canary Wharf, Old Royal Naval College and the Thames Barrier; also a range of packages serving up culinary delights devised by Richard Corrigan and others(to what's likely to be a largely corporate clientele; see the website for package details). The event is launched with the arrival parade on July 25, when the 20 tall ships will be accompanied by around 200 smaller vessels. The ships will gather in Tilbury before sailing into Greenwich, where they will give a salute to the Cutty Sark. Tickets to take part in the parade offer a full day on the Thames, including a transfer from Woolwich Arsenal Pier to Tilbury by Thames Clipper to join the Tall Ships, then a sail into Greenwich. Booking essential.
