This year's headliners, LCD Soundsystem and Major Lazer, have set the bar high for 2016's Lovebox line-up, but the second wave of announcements makes it clear that those two mighty acts were just the beginning.

Here’s the latest scoop on who else will be appearing on both days of Lovebox 2016.

FRIDAY

Danish pop elf MØ joins the Friday bill, dramatically slashing the odds of her singing the Major Lazer mega-hit ‘Lean On’ with that evening’s headliners. For something a bit more go-hard-or-go-home, check out some stellar hip hop acts from totally different corners of the scene. NYC duo Run The Jewels (last spotted endorsing Bernie Sanders for US president) pump out rough-cut beats and killer rhymes. Stormzy (who was tragically robbed of last year’s Christmas Number One) reps the UK grime scene alongside Big Narstie and Kano. And DC’s rising star Goldlink takes it smooth and steady with an R&B edge.

Friday’s punch-packing DJ line-up includes rising Brummie talent Hannah Wants, with David Rodigan MBE, Richy Ahmed, Oneman (back-to-back with My Nu Leng) and Dirty Bird’s Justin Martin all confirmed to appear as well. Don’t let that lot knock you too far sideways, though, as there’s lots more dancefloor action to be had on Saturday in the run-up to LCD’s headline set.

SATURDAY

Day two hinges on a series of big live acts, with slick London hitmakers Jungle returning to the stage, beardy R&B wailer Jack Garratt performing his impressive one-man live show, living funk deity George Clinton playing Parliament and Funkadelic classics and young upstart Jamie Woon doing his finger-clicking thing. Viral pop duo Oh Wonder also put in an appearance, alongside LCD-esque two-piece Formation. There’s also a hefty DJ bill too: Luciano, Steve Lawler, Jackmaster, BTraits, Ricardo Villalobos and Fabric resident Craig Richards are among the genre-spanning spinners on show.

That’s it for now, but there’s plenty more still to come – and all sorts of hedonistic festival fun on the side too. Book your tickets today and we’ll see you in the thick of it come July.
