For someone who used to release a new album every damn year, Rihanna’s been mighty cagey in the run-up to her new record ‘Anti’. The album drops this Friday (for Tidal subscribers) or next (for everyone else), but all we’ve heard is a couple of singles, each hinting at a totally different musical direction. Top marks for mystique – but we have just found out what one of the biggest pop stars on the planet will be doing one Friday next June: headlining Wembley Stadium as part of her ‘Anti’ world tour.

Here’s what we know so far. Rihanna will stop off for one massive London date on Friday June 24 2016, with support sets by The Weeknd and Big Sean. It’ll be her first London show since she headlined Twickenham two years ago. Side-note 1: Coldplay are playing Wembley the week before. (Time for a cheeky ‘Princess of China’ link-up?) Side-note 2: Glastonbury is the same weekend. (You know what we’re thinking.)

Either way, Rihanna’s headline set will no doubt be properly epic. Better not miss it, eh?

Rihanna tickets go on sale on Thursday December 3. Can’t wait for your RiRi fix? Listen to the 20 best Rihanna songs.
