London Literature Festival: what's on?

Musical poetry, interactive workshops and a superhero run – there's more to this literary fest than just books

Add +

Every year the London Literature Festival sees poets, authors, musicians and speakers gather from across the globe to celebrate all things literary. For 2013's festival (May 20-June 5), expect biographer Claire Tomalin to discuss her literary idols, author Lionel Shriver to chat about her work and Jarvis Cocker to perform lyrical love poems. The London Literature Festival is not just about readings and talks, however, also taking place are events including The Poetry Takeaway, a mobile emporium where you can get a made-to-order poem on any subject, and Superhero Run, which includes a superhero mask-making session. Check out all of the events at this year's LLF in our round up below.
