Pick up vinyl, CDs, tapes and other goodies from some of the UK’s best independent record labels at this excellent market
Vinyl buffs, rejoice: the Independent Label Market is back, adding a new Easter fair to complement its summer and winter instalments. It’s a platform for over 80 of the UK’s best independent record labels to sell their wares directly to music lovers, and a chance for punters to get hold of some of the freshest LPs, CDs, tapes and merchandise, and hang out with the ever-friendly label staff and musicians who man the stalls.
In case that leaves you thirsty, the London Brewers’ Market is once again running a pop-up beer garden next door. Head over to sample local craft brews from London and beyond, and have a (hazy) chat to the brewers behind them.
The market opens at 11am, and it’s best to arrive early if you want to take your pick of the exclusive items and beat the crowds (yep, there are crowds). Set your alarm, and bring a tote bag and plenty of cash.
