Lisa Marini’s album launch at The Jazz Cafe

On November 8, we are inviting members to celebrate the launch of Lisa Marini’s new album ‘Summoned by a Foolish Magpie’ at The Jazz Café.

Marini brings a refreshing authenticity to her songs and performances.With an eclectic mix of influences, including Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and Erykah Badu, the foundation of the album is her quality songwriting. Described as ‘dark folk with elements of jazz’, Marini has an intensity and integrity that gives an original voice to every song.
