Soak up the glorious London sunshine (while you can) and awesome rooftop views across the city, plus catch a classic movie while you’re at it. To kick off the sky high June screenings, Rooftop Film Club invites members to ‘Groundhog Day’ at Stratford’s Roof East on June 4 and ‘This is Spinal Tap’ at the Bussey Building in Peckham on June 5.

She’s partnered with fellow screenwriter Tom (Sam Claflin) and eccentric actor Ambrose (Bill Nighy). The trio set off to make a film that will warm the heart of the British nation and capture the imagination of the US public. Members are invited to the Eduardo Paolozzi retrospective at the Whitechapel Gallery for free, anytime throughout the exhibition. Paolozzi was one of the most innovative and irreverent artists of the twentieth century. Considered the ‘Godfather of Pop Art’, his collages, sculptures and prints challenged artistic convention. This major retrospective looks at his works, from the 1950s through the swinging ’60s to the advent of ‘Cool Britannia’ in the 1990s.

Set in west London, ‘City of Tiny Lights’ is written by author Patrick Neate, based on his own novel, and directed by Pete Travis, starring Riz Ahmed and Billie Piper.
