Nestled on the Thames Path, Surrey Docks Farm is a rural delight only a few moments from the mayhem of Surrey Quays shopping centre. After an arson attack in 2010, the farm is back to full strength, noticeable in the happy animals, flourishing gardens and well-kept grounds. There is also a new café, a little sister to Hackney City Farm’s Frizzante, with the same great food but more chance of a seat. The farm is bustling and busy with daily donkey rides, plus various projects such as a monthly market, yoga, massage, a blacksmith’s forge, allotments, mobile farm and more.

Lovely farm by the River Thames. With different animals that children can feed... there is also a caf and above all... there is no entry fee.
Can go for a walk in the area either by the river or in the park. Walking distance fron Rotherhite Overground; Canada Water tube Station (Jubilee & Overground) or by bus C10 & 381
Friendly staff, always welcome volunteers, lovely and relaxing and have great events and farm produce
If the day ( or your mind :-) is grey and dreary one visit to this oasis of calm and peace overlooking Canary Wharf brightens up the gloomiest of days!Perfect for kids but if you would like to stay connected to your inner child then this is the place for you.
Fantastic local farm in Rotherhithe, Southwark (not Tower Hamlets). Lots to see. Great animal experiences. Lovely little shop. All watched over by lovely chatty staff and volunteers. A great place for children, families, couples, singles - Everyone! New cafe operator serves up some lovely specials, chatter cakes and coffee in a delightful farmland setting. Bliss!
A city farm in London with lots of community involvement, what a splendid place! long may it continue. Check out Surrey Docks farm website lots of things going on .
This is a fantastic place to visit. I live nearby and regularly go there for the great cafe and to see the animals. They also offer interesting workshops sometimes. I did a one day introduction to bee-keeping which was brilliant.
This City Farm feels like an actual farm and not a mini zoo like some of the others. They do great things for people with learning disabilities too! Great place.
